Job Summary
Our client is seeking a Revenue Cycle Manager to oversee and lead the day-to-day operations of the revenue cycle, ensuring compliance and optimizing performance metrics. The role involves monitoring work activities, supporting a collaborative team, and driving process improvements.
Responsibilities / Job Duties
- Oversee day-to-day activities, provide leadership, training, and support while ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.
- Monitor volumes, workqueues, and Key Performance Indicators, adjusting priorities and workflows as necessary to achieve performance metrics.
- Review denials and other issues impacting timely submission and payment, working to improve performance.
- Research payor policy to ensure proper billing, compliance, and payor/plan setup. Collaborate with EHR vendor to address issues and maintain system.
- Run reporting, analyze trends, summarize findings, and implement changes or recommendations to improve performance.
- Create and maintain written standard operating procedures and reference materials.
- Strategize and implement measures to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and minimize denials and reimbursement delays.
- Exhibit strong leadership in fostering a collaborative and supportive environment within the team and with other departments, both internal and external.
- Support and actively participate in process improvement initiatives.
- Assist with other duties to support the revenue cycle process and core values.
