Are you passionate about helping patients navigate the financial side of their healthcare journey? We're looking for a Patient Financial Representative to join our dynamic team and play a key role in providing a positive, seamless experience for patients seeking specialized care.
What You’ll Do:
As a Patient Financial Representative, you will serve as the go-to expert for all patient financial matters, including insurance verification, benefit coordination, pre-certification, and cost consultation. You’ll work directly with patients in person and through our virtual portal to provide clarity, transparency, and support throughout their care journey.
Core Responsibilities:

Verify insurance for all patients prior to new appointments and treatment cycles.

Ensure up-to-date insurance information is accurately recorded in the system.

Collect payments prior to scheduled services.

Conduct in-person consultations with patients to discuss procedure costs and insurance coverage.

Serve as the primary point of contact for financial questions and resources.

Address coverage discrepancies and advocate for patients throughout the insurance process.

Handle all required pre-certifications for services including infertility and obstetrical care.

Provide financial consultations for ART services and secure payments in advance.

Collaborate with Care Teams regarding coverage limitations.

Respond to patient inquiries via the virtual patient portal (Salve).

Assist with additional duties as assigned.
Must-Haves:
-
High School Diploma or GED.
-
Experience working with billing or insurance companies.

Strong communication and organizational skills.

Ability to work some weekends, evenings, and holidays on a rotating basis.
Preferred:
-
1+ year of medical billing experience.
-
Background in reproductive medicine or women’s health.

Familiarity with Athena (practice management system).
Training & Support:

Week 1–2: Virtual training, hands-on shadowing, and paired onboarding support.
