Day to Day:

• Rotate between 4 sites: 3 outpatient centers & 1 inpatient hospital

• Receive monthly schedules in advance, with flexibility based on location preferences

• Start shifts by powering on and troubleshooting MRI machines (Siemens Era 1.5T, Avanto 1.5T, Verio 3T)

• Review schedules, prep for patient appointments, and manage materials (contrast, i-STAT, etc.)

• Perform venipuncture for contrast administration

• Handle all aspects of patient positioning, safety screening, charting, and IV documentation

• Conduct inbound/outbound calls (up to 20/day) for patient clearance, provider orders, etc.

• Utilize EPIC EMR for charting and documentation

• Use independent judgment for imaging decisions and patient diagnostics

Qualifications:

• Experience with MRI safety, positioning, IV contrast, and diagnostic procedures

• Venipuncture proficiency required

• Knowledge of MR physics preferred

• Open to new grads and cross-trained XRAY techs

• Must be comfortable rotating between multiple locations (flexibility accommodated)

• Evening shift works only at the inpatient location

• Pay: $35 – $52/hr depending on experience

• Evening differential: +$4/hr | Weekend differential: +$11/hr
