Job Summary

Our client is looking for a dedicated Manufacturing Supervisor to oversee the production of pharmaceutical intermediates in their Kilo and Production Plant. This role involves functioning as a primary operator on projects, ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines, and coordinating project flows to completion. The supervisor will also be responsible for training staff, managing inventory counts, and maintaining accurate records.

Key Responsibilities

• Function as a primary operator for projects.
• Demonstrate working knowledge of procedures, synthetic, and process chemistry.
• Coordinate project flow between departments.
• Perform manufacturing and other related training sessions for staff members.
• Work in compliance with FDA, OSHA, EPA and other regulatory guidelines.
• Ensure accurate and concise cGMP record-keeping.
• Conduct performance reviews and supervise staff to meet production deadlines.
• Assist staff in process scale-up activities and tech transfer.
• Generate cost models for project quotes.
• Manage all projects in production by assigning chemists and monitoring progress.

Qualifications

• BS Degree
• 5+ years of GMP leadership experience

Skills

• Strong knowledge of synthetic/process chemistry.
• Proficient in coordinating project flows and training staff.
• Ability to work in a team environment and build effective teams within the production department.
