Surgery Scheduler/Medical Assistant
Location: Denver Metro Area, CO (Monday: Lone Tree, Tuesday: Aurora, Wednesday-Friday: Englewood)
Schedule: Full-time, Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM MST (No weekends)

This role offers a unique blend of administrative and clinical responsibilities, providing diverse experience and contributing significantly to patient care. You'll be instrumental in ensuring smooth surgical coordination and providing direct patient support.
Responsibilities:
Surgery Scheduling (2-3 days/week):

Coordinate surgeries and insurance coverage directly with hospitals.

Manage authorization and verification of insurance benefits for procedures.

Maintain a high volume of scheduled surgeries, aiming for 6-8 per day.
Medical Assisting (2-3 days/week):

Perform light MA duties, including taking blood pressures and vital signs.

Room patients efficiently and prepare them for examinations.

Assist with wound care and support procedures as needed.

Help manage a patient volume of approximately 25 patients per day.
What You'll Bring:
Must-Haves:

Proven clinical experience in a healthcare setting.

Experience working with insurance processes or scheduling appointments.

High School Diploma or equivalent.
Nice-to-Haves:

Experience with insurance verification and authorization.

Basic Medical Assistant skills (vitals, blood pressure, wound care, staple removal).

Reliable, independent, and coachable personality.

MA diploma or Bachelor's degree.

Vascular experience is a plus!
