Job Summary

Our client is seeking a Behavioral Health Registered Nurse to provide nursing care to adolescents and children, ages 5–17, in a 16-bed facility-based crisis unit. The primary goal of this role is to deliver stabilization, de-escalation, and medication administration services to patients experiencing acute psychiatric distress. The position requires a trauma-informed approach in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment focused on safety, structure, and compassionate care.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to children and adolescents in crisis.
• Administer medication and monitor patient responses.
• Implement strategies for stabilization and de-escalation.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure a supportive and structured environment.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) qualification.
• Experience in trauma-informed care.
• Ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment.
