Job Summary

Our client is seeking a Front Desk Receptionist to manage patient interactions efficiently and professionally. Key responsibilities include greeting patients, managing patient documentation, and maintaining schedule operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet patients in a friendly manner and manage their arrivals in the EMR system.
• Assist patients with completing necessary forms, reviewing documents for new patients, and managing insurance information.
• Answer and direct patient questions empathetically, and handle telephone communications professionally.
• Build and update patient charts using the EMR system and manage records with referring offices.
• Maintain physician schedules and assist with tasks like requesting reports and making calls.
• Assist with ordering and scheduling tests, obtaining insurance authorizations, and updating demographics.
• Collect copays, process payments, and handle mail and communications efficiently.
• Foster professional relationships with referring offices and hospital staff, and manage physician dictation and messages.
• Maintain office operations, adhere to protocols, and ensure patient dignity and confidentiality.
• Support team environment, attend staff meetings, help update policies, and train new employees.
