Job Summary
Our client is seeking dedicated individuals to join their health center as Dental Assistants at a brand new location equipped with the latest technology. The primary goal of this role includes supporting a high-quality, patient-centric dental team with advanced practice dentistry, which extends beyond routine exams. This role encompasses elements of patient preparation, x-ray examination, assisting documentation during procedures, and potential front desk responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Reviewing patient load and preparing necessary equipment and instruments.
- Gathering patient dental history and intake information.
- Conducting digital x-rays using Shick Sensors.
- Assisting dentist during exams and procedures like fillings, dentures, crowns, and teeth whitening.
- Developing bite molds and impressions for night guards, crowns, and dentures.
- Handling up to 20-30 patients per day.
- Minimal phone work and providing coverage at the front desk as needed.
Qualifications
- Must have x-ray certification in Ohio.
- Experience with bite molds and impressions is highly beneficial.
