Job Summary

As a Family Medicine Medical Assistant, you will be a vital part of our client's healthcare team, providing comprehensive medical care to patients of all ages. Your role will support the mission and goals of our client by delivering quality medical services consistent with family practice standards, managing patient consultations, and contributing to patient wellness.

Key Responsibilities

• Render medical services typically expected of a family practitioner, including diagnosis, treatment, and referrals.
• Manage a patient caseload according to care and productivity standards.
• Communicate regularly with healthcare providers and staff regarding patient health needs.
• Complete all necessary documentation, including medical records and reimbursement forms, promptly.
• Attend medical staff meetings and participate in professional development activities.
• Provide instruction to paramedical personnel and contribute to teaching efforts.
• Supervise the patient care activities of assigned paramedical personnel.
• Participate in after-hours telephone triage coverage and be available for evening and weekend duties as needed.
• Ensure adherence to infection control measures per OSHA standards and internal policies.
• Assist in peer review activities and report any issues to supervisors immediately.
• Additional duties and projects as assigned.
