Job Summary
Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Medical Assistant to support healthcare providers by coordinating patient care, performing administrative duties, and optimizing operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a team environment.
Responsibilities / Job Duties
- Collaborate with all healthcare providers and assist with scheduling and procedural setups and breakdowns.
- Provide exceptional customer service and treat patients as VIPs.
- Manage patient flow to minimize waiting times and assist in medical examinations and procedures.
- Perform electronic medical records (EMR) chart reviews and document patient information.
- Educate patients on routine tasks, dispense samples, and manage prescription refills as prescribed.
- Organize exam rooms and maintain cleanliness and stock levels.
- Participate in training new hires and support the MA lead.
- Adhere to HIPAA Guidelines and maintain patient confidentiality.
- Display a positive, cooperative, and professional attitude in all interactions.
- Complete all assigned duties accurately and in a timely manner.
Minimum Education and Experience Qualification Requirements

- Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR)
- Preferred experience with Nexgen and Epic systems
- Bilingual capabilities are advantageous
