Job Summary

Our client is seeking a Scheduler to efficiently manage and schedule walk-in appointments for radiology services. The role involves greeting and checking in patients, verifying insurance information, and updating records accurately. The Scheduler will provide clear communication to patients and coordinate closely with radiology technologists and medical staff.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and schedule walk-in appointments for radiology services.
• Greet and check in patients, verify insurance information, and update EHR systems.
• Verify patient insurance coverage and obtain necessary authorizations for procedures.
• Communicate appointment details and follow-up actions clearly and empathetically to patients.
• Coordinate with radiology technologists and medical staff to ensure smooth patient flow.
• Address and resolve scheduling conflicts and patient concerns promptly.
• Enter and update patient information and appointment details accurately.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and organizational policies.
• Maintain accurate records of appointments, cancellations, and rescheduling activities.
• Provide administrative support to the radiology department as needed.

Additional Requirements

The candidate will be required to train at the Princeton location for the first two weeks.
