Job Summary

Our client is seeking a Patient Services Coordinator to join their team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the check-in process at the Carmel location. This position requires an individual who enjoys working in fast-paced settings and has excellent interpersonal skills to warmly welcome patients.

Key Responsibilities

• Greeting patients upon arrival and collecting identification and demographic information.
• Conducting pre-registration and ensuring all necessary information is collected before appointments.
• Reviewing online faxes to update patient files and collecting insurance information.
• Assisting with patient collections, including copays and deductibles.
• Scheduling patient appointments and referrals.
• Checking in 15-20 patients per day.
• Supporting phone line for patient questions, appointment confirmations/cancellations, and referrals.

Qualifications

• Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems; comfortable with SRS and Next Tech.
• A minimum of 1 year of experience in a medical office setting is required.

Skills

• Proficiency in working with EMR systems.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills suitable for patient interaction.
