## Job Summary
We are looking for a mission-driven Care Advocate to join our team and provide world-class care to our client members. As part of the Care Delivery team, you will be responsible for guiding members through digital care, offering tools for optimal experiences, and consistently improving our services. As a Care Advocate, you will be the primary resource for members, offering education and access to care while maintaining excellent customer service.
## Key Responsibilities
- Prioritizing tasks and managing a schedule of introductory video appointments with members.
- Answering questions about products and providing personalized recommendations to meet member needs.
- Ensuring an exceptional customer service experience and appropriately escalating concerns or questions.
- Navigating networks to ensure members have access to care and investigating available support.
- Coordinating with team members to provide immediate care access and conducting follow-ups.
- Providing educational resources related to program needs and following up with materials.
- Collaborating with Care Delivery, Customer Support, Provider group, and Product teams.
- Executing tasks to ensure optimal member experience and resolving outstanding items.
- Participating in cross-functional projects and collaborating with other departments.
- Identifying referral needs and collaborating with providers.
- Addressing social determinants of health needs for members.
- Performing any other duties as assigned.
## Qualifications
- Background in allied health, human services, or healthcare.
- 1-2+ years of direct patient care experience.
- Problem-solving skills for creative customer need solutions, especially in remote/startup environments.
- Flexibility with changes and a growth mindset.
- Empathetic communication skills, both written and verbal, for positive member experiences.
- Experience in achieving KPIs relevant to engagement, satisfaction, and productivity.
- Proficiency in navigating new technologies and systems in a remote setting.
- Experience in family planning and maternal-child health or other relevant areas preferred.
- Comfort with technology tools like Google Suite, CRM platforms, EHRs, and Zendesk.
- Certification or licensure in a healthcare-related field preferred.
