Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly, organized, and reliable Medical Front Desk Specialist to join our healthcare team. As the first point of contact for patients, this role is crucial in providing a welcoming and professional environment while efficiently managing front desk operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet patients warmly and check them in upon arrival

• Schedule, confirm, and manage patient appointments

• Answer phones promptly and direct calls or take messages as needed

• Collect and verify patient insurance information and demographics

• Obtain required forms and signatures for billing and HIPAA compliance

• Process co-pays and other payments; balance end-of-day receipts

• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional front desk area

• Coordinate with clinical staff to ensure smooth patient flow

• Respond to patient inquiries with professionalism and accuracy

• Manage incoming and outgoing mail, faxes, and correspondence
