Job Summary

Our client is seeking an experienced Medical Assistant to support the clinic with both medical records and recall scheduling tasks. This role primarily focuses on managing patient callbacks, demonstrating appropriate technical skills, providing patient education, and assisting with Fast Track scheduling for screening colonoscopies.

Key Responsibilities

• Support in clinic as needed, including managing patient callbacks and capturing MIPS measures.
• Greet and room patients, ensuring appropriate patient flow.
• Update patient's medical chart with accurate and timely documentation.
• Manage phone triage and take appropriate action under the direction of the provider.
• Demonstrate ability and appropriate technical skills when administering treatments and procedures.
• Provide patient education and personal care to ensure comfort and well-being.
• Process refills for prescriptions following clinic protocol under the direction of providers.
• Foster positive interpersonal relationships with clinic employees, managers, and providers.
• Take direction and initiate actions to support seamless patient care.
• Follow safety procedures in compliance with OSHA and state health department guidelines.

Qualifications

• Experienced MAR or CMA with the capacity to perform technical skills and provide patient education.
• Able to manage medical records and participate in Fast Track scheduling effectively.
