What You'll Do:
As a Pharmacy Claims Specialist, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring our clients receive seamless pharmacy care.
Your responsibilities would include:
- Process pharmacy claims accurately and in a timely manner to meet client expectations.
- Triage rejected pharmacy insurance claims to determine patient benefits coverage.
- Ensure compliance with all patient assistance program guidelines.
- Document all information and data discoveries according to established operating procedures.
- Research necessary information using available resources.
- Maintain strict confidentiality of all patient and proprietary information.
- Perform all tasks safely and compliantly, adhering to corporate policies, as well as State and Federal laws.
- Collaborate effectively and cross-functionally with management, pharmacy, compliance, and engineering teams.
What We're Looking For:
- We're seeking individuals with excellent communication skills and a background or understanding of claims, insurance verification, or prior authorization processes specific to prescriptions. You might be a great fit if you have experience as:
- An administrative professional in a pharmacy-related business.
- A retail pharmacy technician looking for an administrative role outside of order entry or pharmacy fill.
- An administrative professional from other health plans, or pharmaceutical organizations.
- Individuals from other healthcare environments with strong administrative experience will also be considered.
