Job Title: Mammography Technologist (Full-Time)

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Salary Range: $93,600 – $135,200 annually

About the Role
We are actively seeking a Mammography Technologist to join our team full-time. This vital role is responsible for performing mammographic imaging studies to aid in the detection and diagnosis of breast tissue abnormalities. As part of a patient-centered imaging team, you’ll play a key role in providing high-quality, compassionate care in a fast-paced environment.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Welcome patients, confirm identification, review imaging requests, and ensure all special instructions are followed.
- Educate and comfort patients, explaining the mammography process and answering any questions.
- Perform mammography studies: position patients, adjust compression mechanisms, calibrate equipment, and capture images.
- Minimize radiation exposure by adhering to strict radiation safety protocols.
- Maintain quality standards by reviewing and adjusting images as needed; submit finalized studies for radiologist interpretation.
- Perform basic equipment maintenance and call for service or repairs as needed.
- Manage inventory of supplies and linens.
- Document patient care and imaging details in records accurately.
- Stay current on best practices and professional developments in the field.
Schedule Details
- Screening Days: Monday, Wednesday, Friday (20-minute appointments)
- Diagnostic & Biopsy Days: Tuesday, Thursday (30-minute appointments)
- You’ll rotate weekly between Siemens and Hologic mammography machines.
- Friday coverage will be solo, so confidence and autonomy are essential.
- Expect a fully booked schedule on screening days.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Current BLS certification
- Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
- Certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
- Mammographic Radiologic Technology certification
- Basic troubleshooting and operation of imaging software/equipment
- Excellent communication skills and bedside manner
- Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision
Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have)
- Experience with Siemens mammography systems
- Previous experience in mammography or a related imaging discipline
