ABOUT OUR CLIENT / ABOUT THIS ROLE:

Medix is currently seeking a Sailpoint IAM Analyst / Engineer for a remote contract opportunity with one of our top Health System clients. Our client is based in the Eastern Time zone, and has ~20 affiliated hospitals / 150+ clinical sites in their region.

They recently implemented Sailpoint for Identity & Access Management. This role will be to help build out more features from the Sailpoint IIQ product, such as automating RBAC for onboarding and terminations, and integrating Sailpoint with a large number of enterprise IT and clinical applications for the Health System

This role will be working on a team, and will be cross-trained to provide secondary / backup support for Cyber Security platforms - like Logrhythm, AlienVault, Qualys, etc.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Working on a dedicated Identity & Access Management team, with the Sailpoint IIQ product
• Automating role-based access controls for new hires, promotions, and terminations
• Configuring and deploying Sailpoint RBAC (role editing and modeling, role mining, entitlement analysis, certifications for role membership and role composition, and workflows for governing changes)
• Onboarding business and clinical applications into Sailpoint - down the road, this may include Epic EHR.
• Working in a team environment to provide access management and account provisioning across the hospital system
• Processing system privileges and network access requests in Entra and Sailpoint
• Ensuring that the authorization has gone through the appropriate channels and has been approved
• Working with automated provisioning tools (Sailpoint) to help automate and manage the Identity & Access Management process.
• Monitoring for, and identifying patterns in security violations, system problems, etc.
• Documenting and updating access-related policies and procedures.
• Assisting with enterprise HIPAA Security and Privacy compliance / audits.

QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIRED SKILLS

• 7-10+ years of professional experience
• 5+ years with Sailpoint IdentityIQ (IIQ)
• Automated provisioning in Sailpoint
• Strong Microsoft Active Director / Entra experience
• Prior Healthcare Industry experience is required
• Epic EHR experiences is a plus
• Some Cyber Security experience, such as a background with SEIM / Threat Management platforms like Logrhythm, Quakys, AlienVault, etc is preferred
