Job Summary

Our client is seeking a part time Medical Billing Specialist with Behavioral Health Experience to help manage backlogs. This position involves supporting intake billing operations and serving as a key point of contact for new patients. Responsibilities include initiating and maintaining accurate billing records, insurance verification, authorization acquisition, and issue resolution.

Salary: $28.00 - $30.00 

Schedule: Tuesday and Thursday (8:00AM - 6:00PM) 

Key Responsibilities

• Support intake billing operations under the direction of the Medical Billing Manager.
• Serve as a key point of contact for new patients referred to the organization.
• Initiate and maintain accurate billing records from intake through claim submission.
• Perform insurance verification and authorization acquisition.
• Resolve any billing issues that arise.

Qualifications

• Experience in medical billing, particularly in behavioral health.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Proficiency in maintaining accurate records and managing billing operations.
