Job Summary

Our client is seeking a Quality Engineer responsible for independently setting quality standards and developing testing and sampling methods. The role involves evaluating production processes, recommending improvements, vendor management, and maintaining product specifications and documentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the development and implementation of methods for process control, validation, and improvement.
• Design experiments to analyze product and process variations.
• Perform testing and analysis to maintain quality and minimize defects.
• Collaborate with suppliers on quality issues and lead supplier quality improvement programs.
• Provide expertise in product development, design control, and regulatory compliance.
• Coordinate product testing with internal and external laboratories.
• Ensure compliance with domestic and international regulations.
• Lead investigations and develop corrective actions for non-conformances.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, Math, or a related technical field.
• Experience developing methods of accomplishing goals with minimal supervision.
• Strong time management skills for handling multiple projects.
• Problem-solving skills using mathematical or systematic operations.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite, particularly Excel.
• Knowledge of government and industry quality assurance codes and standards.
• Up to 15% travel required.
• 2+ years of experience in quality or engineering, preferably in medical devices or related fields.
