Are you a detail-oriented and efficient pharmacist with a passion for animal health? We are seeking a dedicated Contract Pharmacist to join our team in Phoenix, Arizona!

Pay Rate: $45.00 - $55.00 per hour

Hours: Monday - Friday, standard business hours (specific hours to be confirmed) - 40 hours per week

Location: Phoenix, Arizona (Closed Door Pharmacy)

Job Summary:

As a Contract Pharmacist at our closed-door pharmacy, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accurate and timely dispensing of medications for pets. Your focus on quality and efficiency will contribute directly to the well-being of animals.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately dispense prescriptions for pets in strict adherence to company policy and all relevant regulations and laws governing prescription medications.
• Meticulously verify compounding processes performed by pharmacy technicians, including checking calculations, confirming the correct ingredients, and conducting thorough final quality assurance checks.
• Demonstrate the ability to work effectively within USP 795 and USP 800 compliant laboratory spaces, adhering to all safety protocols.
• Maintain a high level of focus to efficiently complete individual tasks with speed and accuracy.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy.
• Current and active Arizona Pharmacist license in good standing is required.
• Familiarity with pharmaceutical calculations is preferred.
