Job Summary

Our client is seeking a Director of Product Development responsible for leading flavoring and formulation, as well as program management to bring all products through commercialization. Additionally, this role will manage marketing and innovation initiatives, including participation in customer Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs).

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize product formulations to meet quality, taste, cost, and nutritional standards, while identifying cost-saving opportunities.
• Oversee product development programs, including timelines, budgets, and resources.
• Ensure products are scaled up and ready for manufacturing.
• Drive marketing strategies and initiatives to promote product awareness and sales growth.
• Participate in customer QBR meetings to share market trends and innovations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Nutritional Science, or related field. Advanced degree preferred.

Experience

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in product development within the nutraceutical or related industry, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
• Proven track record of developing and launching innovative products.

Skills

• Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects effectively.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
