Job Summary

Our client is seeking an Insurance Coordinator to manage insurance pre-certifications and prior authorizations for surgical and in-office procedures. The role involves verifying insurance benefits, communicating out-of-pocket costs with patients, and ensuring compliance with HIPAA and billing protocols.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage insurance pre-certifications and prior authorizations for surgical and in-office procedures.
• Verify insurance benefits and communicate out-of-pocket costs with patients.
• Review codes and documentation for accurate billing.
• Support claims submission, follow-ups, and collections.
• Assist patients with financial responsibility questions.
• Maintain updated patient records in Nextech.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA and billing protocols.
