Job Summary

Our client is seeking a highly motivated Engineering Manager responsible for managing engineers and supporting company objectives and customer demands. This includes meeting customer orders, continuous improvement, project management, and tooling development.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage engineers and support company objectives.
• Meet customer orders and demands.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Oversee project management and tooling development.
• Collaborate with team members and provide high-level support.
• Provide leadership and mentoring to the team.
• Use statistical analysis software and quality control methods.
• Utilize Gantt project management software for managing multiple projects.
• Provide hands-on support and analysis for process improvements.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Engineering.
• Manufacturing Experience – Minimum 10 Years preferred.
• Management Experience – 5 Years minimum preferred.
• Ability to provide leadership and mentoring.
• Proven track record of statistical problem solving.
• Tool design experience with CAD.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong computer skills using Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Skills

• Technical skills in tool design and CAD.
• Proficiency in statistical analysis and SPC application.
• Experience with measurement tools and gage R&R techniques.
• Lean manufacturing experience, including 5S methodology.
• Ability to work collaboratively with team members.
• High mechanical aptitude for troubleshooting processes and equipment.
