Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) - Seattle
We're hiring Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to provide essential care at an assisted living facility in Seattle. We have multiple openings, including full-time (40 hours/week) and part-time (32 hours/week) positions.
- Daily Living Support: Helping residents safely navigate their day, including meal assistance, showering, and medication reminders.
- Environmental Support: Maintaining a tidy living space for residents, including changing linens and light tidying.
- Documentation: Accurately documenting care provided and any changes in resident health using an electronic medical record system (experience with EPIC is a plus).
- Hospice Care: Providing compassionate support to residents in hospice care, reporting changes in their status, and ensuring their safety.
This facility currently cares for 75 residents and offers services including fitness and social activities, nutritious meals, transportation coordination, RN oversight, occupational therapy, and respite for caregivers. The patient demographic is diverse, and cultural mindfulness is essential.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Pay Rate: $22 - $28 per hour, depending on experience.
- 1-5 years of experience: $22-$24/hour
- 5-15 years of experience: $24-$28/hour
Parking:
- No free on-site parking. Candidates are encouraged to use public transportation. Paid parking is available at approximately $20/day.
- This is a contract-to-hire position with a competitive benefits package upon conversion, including:

Schedule/Shift Availability (1 opening for each):
- Graveyard: Saturday and Sunday (10:45 PM - 7:15 AM)
- Morning: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday (6:15 AM - 2:45 PM)
- Evening: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday (2:30 PM - 11:00 PM)
- Opportunity for double shifts if interested.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) License, Nursing Assistant Registration, or Home Care Aide Certification.
- CPR / BLS Certification.
- 1+ year of experience working with the elderly population.
Preferred Skills:
- Previous experience in a large assisted living facility.
- Bilingual abilities (Mandarin, Korean, Japanese, Cantonese, Vietnamese) are a plus.
Soft Skills & Attributes:
- Adaptable: Ability to work effectively with a diverse range of patients, including utilizing translation services, and providing culturally sensitive care.
