Job Summary

The Patient Care Coordinator / Scheduler is responsible for scheduling patients for preventive health care screenings on behalf of their primary care provider. This role supports the Practice Support Unit (PSU) teams in central Texas, focusing on efficiently filling the provider's daily patient schedule.

Key Responsibilities

• Work with a web-based call schedule to achieve maximum patient capacity per provider each day.
• Complete a minimum of 60-80 calls per day once trained.
• Utilize computer skills for management and tracking purposes.
• Apply medical terminology and appointment scheduling knowledge.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in a medical office.
• 1 year of data entry experience.

Experience

• 1 year of experience in a healthcare scheduling role.
• Experience with web-based calling systems.

Skills

• Proficiency in medical terminology and appointment scheduling.
• Strong computer skills for tracking and management purposes.
