Contract Details

• Pay: $28.00–$34.00/hour (depending on experience and location)

• Hours: Flexible, minimum of 16 hours per week

• Work Location: Remote

• Employment Type: 1099 Contractor

• Malpractice insurance provided

• Paid training (12 hours over two weeks)

Position Overview
Medix is seeking experienced and compassionate Registered Dietitians to deliver patient-centered Medical Nutritional Therapy via telehealth. You’ll work as a 1099 contractor using our state-of-the-art platform, supporting patients primarily focused on weight management, while also considering other health concerns.

Responsibilities

• Conduct virtual consultations to review intake information and medical history

• Provide MNT and evidence-based nutritional guidance using WW Clinic protocols

• Build and maintain ongoing relationships through regular follow-ups

• Motivate and support patients in achieving their health goals

• Schedule follow-up appointments and manage availability using Google Calendar

• Complete documentation, charting (ADIME/SOAP), and billing in a timely and accurate manner

• Collaborate with your team through Slack and attend monthly virtual meetings
   

Qualifications

• Registered Dietitian (RD) or Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) with active CDR credentials

• Active dietetics/nutrition license in at least one state (multi-state licensing is a plus)

• Telehealth experience preferred

• Strong virtual bedside manner and digital communication skills

• Availability of at least 10 hours/week (16–40 hours preferred)
   

Additional Information

• Members schedule appointments 48 hours in advance

• Dietitians are responsible for charting and sending post-visit summaries to patients

• Maximum of three back-to-back appointments per day

• Dietitians set their own schedules and manage availability in real time

• Onboarding includes deep dives into the WW program and platform protocols

• You must be credentialed before seeing patients
