Job Summary

Our client is seeking a dedicated Pharmacy Technician responsible for streamlining administrative tasks and improving medication management. The technician will help manage non-formulary medication issues, ensuring timely access for patients, and will support medication reconciliation processes. This role is instrumental in enhancing population health data support and managing patient and provider outreach.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage non-formulary medication issues to ensure timely access for patients.
• Gather medication lists from various sources, allowing pharmacists to focus on clinical evaluations.
• Compile external medication histories to help assess therapeutic duplications or omissions.
• Prepare Power BI reports to track HEDIS measure compliance, facilitating direct patient interventions by pharmacists.
• Conduct non-clinical patient outreach and follow-ups to ensure adherence.
• Manage provider outreach to facilitate non-formulary medication alternatives and authorizations.

Skills

• Proficiency in Power BI and Salesforce for data support and management.
• Strong communication skills for patient and provider interactions.
