Job Summary

Our client is seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to support healthcare professionals by performing a variety of patient care activities. The role includes primary responsibilities such as collecting patient specimens, managing referrals, and assisting physicians in preparing for minor surgeries and physicals.

Key Responsibilities

• Phlebotomy
• Collects patient specimens.
• Takes patient histories and vital signs.
• Prepares exam and treatment rooms with necessary instruments.
• Gives injections and applies dressings as applicable.
• Prepares and maintains supplies and equipment for treatments, including sterilization.
• Manages referrals and prior authorizations.
• Assists physician in preparing for minor surgeries and physicals.
• Administrative duties as needed.
