Responsibilities:

• Accurately enter prescription information received via electronic transmission, fax, or verbally, following established protocols.
• Manage communications with providers and physicians, including handling voicemails and conducting both inbound and outbound phone calls.
• Address and resolve outstanding issues reported by internal teams such as pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, and the Incident Coordinator group.
• Ensure all activities are performed in accordance with corporate standards and comply with applicable State and Federal regulations.
• Support additional pharmacy technician functions and responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a pharmacy technician role or a related field.
• Possession of a PTCB or NHA certification, or willingness to obtain certification within 120 days of employment.
• Clear and professional phone communication skills, particularly in customer or provider support.
• Strong focus on detail and a high level of accuracy in work tasks.
• Ability to quickly learn and work with sophisticated pharmacy software tools.
• Proficient in performing standard pharmacy-related calculations.
