Job Summary

Our client seeks a dedicated Nurse Practitioner to work at a healthcare facility focused on providing primary care for adults, including homeless and underprivileged populations. The role includes both direct patient care and administrative duties, requiring hands-on experience and the ability to handle mental health and substance abuse situations effectively.

Responsibilities / Job Duties

• Provide 36 hours of direct patient care per week.
• Conduct 4 hours of administrative tasks weekly, which can be done remotely. Tasks include charting, managing charge tickets, and reviewing lab results.
• Manage a caseload of 18-20 patients per 8-hour shift, catering to both walk-ins and appointments.
• Attend monthly provider meetings.

Minimum Education and Experience Qualification Requirements

Qualifications

• DEA license required.
• A minimum of one year of experience in a busy primary care setting.
• Experience must be clinical, not telehealth.
• Ability to manage complex healthcare situations independently.

Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM
