Triage Nurse Job Description
1. Sitting position 99% of time.
2. Check voicemail messages and type it into the EHR. Forward to
provider.

3. You will be working closely with all the providers and it would be to
your benefit to build a close relationship with them.
4. Prescription refills
a. Need to know when you can send in a refill and when to ask a
provider.
b. All providers have different preferences
c. Prior auth
5. Medical Records to referring doctors and L & D.
6. Schedule appointments when necessary with MFM or other
specialists.
7. Attend CQI meetings.
a. Take notes and get in touch with patients and/or referring
doctors.

a. Requires:
i. Computer skills
ii. Typing skills
iii. Listening skills

COVID vax required, if you don't already have it they will administer on day one.

Schedule/ Shift: M-F 8a-5p
