Medix is now hiring an Administrative Specialist for a surgical center in Beverly Hils. will be responsible for managing pre-operative processes, coordinating surgeries, and ensuring smooth communication between patients, providers, and insurance companies.

Shift: Mon-Fri (8am-5pm)

Type: Hybrid (On-Site 4 days/week, WFH 1day/week)

Pay: $70,000-$85,000/year

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and process all administrative documents related to surgical procedures.
• Prepare and organize pre-op packets to ensure patients have the necessary information before surgery.
• Review and flag insurance-related concerns, ensuring proper authorization and compliance.
• Manage and adjust surgery schedules, coordinating with surgeons, patients, and insurance providers as needed.
• Act as a liaison between patients and medical teams, ensuring a seamless onboarding process.
• Assist in other patient and insurance coordination duties as necessary.

Requirements:

• Background in healthcare administration, preferably in a surgery center, oncology, or plastic surgery setting. Experience working with oncology (cancer) patients is highly valued but not required.
• Strong understanding of insurance processes, authorizations, and surgical coordination.
