Medix is looking to hire a Licensed Pharmacy Technicians for a Sterile Compounding role to join a well-established organization in Irvine, CA.
Responsibilities:
- Assists in the operation of the facility pharmacy.
- Maintains drug and supply inventory and inventory records.
- Help patients and healthcare providers by answering questions.
- Create IV infusions in a clean room setting using aseptic technique.
- Communicate with authorization teams to obtain necessary information.
- Maintain a safe working environment.
- Locate, dispense, pack, and label a prescribed medication.
- Provide outstanding customer service at all times.
Requirements / Experience:
- 2+ years of experience as a licensed Pharmacy Technician.
- Sterile compounding experience (highly preferred).
- High school diploma.
- Active Pharmacy Technician license.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Strong math skills (must complete an assessment).
Schedule:
- Monday- Friday between 7:00 am- 7:00 pm; 1-2 Saturdays per month
Starting Pay:
$24-30/hr BOE
