This job description is for a Licensed Medicare Sales Agent position with remote work flexibility. 

Job Details

• Work Location: Remote (must supply your own equipment)

• Discipline: Health Insurance (specifically Medicare)

• Job Type: 1099 Employment (independent contractor status)

• Salary/Compensation: $65,000–$125,000 annually, based on performance (commission-based/ 1099)

Key Responsibilities

• Assist clients with Medicare enrollment, explain options for coverage, and help them make informed decisions.

• All work is done remotely via phone, with no in-person meetings.

• Help clients find the best Medicare plans and supplements that fit their individual needs.

Qualifications

• Location: You can live in any state except California and New York.

• Experience: Must have at least 1 year of experience in Medicare enrollment, with preference for those who have experience in the 2024-2025 Annual Enrollment Period (AEP).

• Certifications: AHIP certification is required.

• Licensing: You must be licensed in at least 5 states.

• Release from Past Employer: You’ll need a release from any previous employer if applicable.

Schedule

• Flexible schedule as a 1099 contractor.

• Inbound calls happen between 7:00am–3:30pm PST, Monday to Friday, but you can work beyond those hours for outbound campaigns.

• You’ll need to commit to working at least 25 hours per week.

Compensation

• Commission-based pay (based on policies sold).

• No chargebacks or clawbacks on commissions.

• No benefits (including health insurance or 401(k)), so you’ll need to arrange your own health plan.
