Telehealth Nurse Practitioner (NP)
Overview: We are looking for a skilled and flexible Nurse Practitioner (NP) to conduct telehealth visits for hormone replacement therapy, weight loss medication, and IV services. The role involves conducting pre-IV consultation calls, prescribing medication, and managing patient interactions entirely via telehealth. This is a unique opportunity to create your own schedule, working remotely, and making a meaningful impact on patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct telehealth consultations for hormone replacement therapy, weight loss medications, and IV services.
- Schedule pre-IV consultation calls to ensure patient readiness for IV treatments.
- Prescribe medications based on the results of patient consultations.
- Maintain communication with providers regarding scheduled appointments and availability.
- Work collaboratively with the team to ensure smooth, effective patient care.
Must Have Skills & Qualifications:
- Active Nurse Practitioner (NP) License (Utah preferred, but not required).
- Comfort and proficiency with conducting telehealth visits.
- Experience in general medicine. Any experience with IVs, hormone therapy, or weight loss is a significant advantage.
- DEA License
- Ability to create and maintain flexible schedules for patient appointments and telehealth consultations.
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience with hormone treatment or hormone replacement therapy.
- Previous experience in telehealth.
Schedule/Shift:
- Flexible! Create your own schedule with a minimum of 3 hours per week of availability.
- You will be paid for at least 3 hours of work each week, even if the scheduled work doesn't reach 3 hours.
- The role currently expects 3-5 hours of work per week.
- All appointments and patient visits will be scheduled based on the NP's provided availability.
Additional Information:
- This is a part-time, remote position with a great deal of flexibility.
- You will be required to follow up with patients within 24-48 hours after consultations.
