Medix is looking to hire a Spanish bilingual Dental Assistant to join a well-established, non-profit community clinic in Downtown Los Angeles 90015.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Assisting the dentist(s) and the dental hygienist(s) in the direct provision of primary care dental services to patients at the clinic
• The sterilization, preparation and inventory control of dental instruments, supplies, and for proper infection control of all areas involving dental care
• Carrying out the extra-oral duties or procedures specified by the supervising licensed dentist
• Operating dental radiography equipment for oral radiography
• Performing intraoral and extra-oral photography.

Requirements / Experience

• DA Diploma
• New Grads are encouraged to apply
• Bilingual English/Spanish
• Proof of COVID vaccination

Schedule:

• Monday- Friday 7:30- 4:00 pm, alternating Saturdays
• 32-hour work week

Pay Range:

• $21-22/hr BOE
