Medix is hiring a Dental Treatment Coordinator for a temp to hire opportunity within a dental practice in Austin!

Responsibilities/ Job Duties:

• Coordinate patient scheduling to ensure timely and efficient appointments for treatments and consultations.
• Explain treatment plans and financial options to patients, addressing questions to ensure understanding and acceptance.
• Verify insurance benefits, obtain pre-authorizations, and provide cost estimates for dental procedures.
• Maintain accurate patient records in dental management software, tracking treatment progress and follow-up care.

Minimum Education and Experience Qualification Requirements:

• Minimum 6 months experience in a dental practice
• Prior Dentrix Ascend experience required
• CareCredit knowledge a plus

Schedule/ Shift:

• Monday - Friday from 7:55a-5p
• 40 hrs/wk
