Responsibilities/ Job Duties:

• Act as the middleman between the CMA and the provider on their team
• Answer phones, patient portal messages, and provider messages
• Prep patients
• Lead in-office procedures
• Complete all other CMA tasks below depending on the day and staff working:
  • Rooming patients
  • Obtain vital signs such as height, weight, blood pressure, temperature
  • Collect and document patient information in NextGen (ex. medication reconciliation)
  • Administer injections (between 4-10 depending on the day)
  • Answering phones and patient portal messages
  • Scheduling appointments
  • Assist with in-office procedures, such as pap smears, biopsies, skin tag removals, and ear lavages
  • Patient volume: 19-22 patients/day

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:

• LPN license
• BLS certification (or CPR certification through AHA)
• Flexible on years of experience
• Vaccine administration
• Open to background in home health or clinical exp

Schedule/ Shift: M-F 8a-5p
