Job description

Key Responsibilities

  • Imaging Procedures: Perform diagnostic imaging examinations, including X-rays, in accordance with physician orders and established protocols.

  • Patient Care: Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures, ensuring their comfort and safety while maintaining appropriate shielding practices.

  • Equipment Operation: Operate and maintain X-ray equipment, ensuring it functions properly and reporting any technical issues.

  • Documentation: Accurately record patient information and imaging details in electronic medical records (EMR) or other systems.

  • Safety Compliance: Adhere to radiation safety guidelines and ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.

  • Image Quality Assurance: Review images for clarity and accuracy before submitting them to radiologists or physicians for interpretation.

  • Collaboration: Work closely with physicians, radiologists, and other healthcare professionals to deliver efficient and effective patient care.

  • Infection Control: Maintain a clean and sterile environment, following infection control protocols and proper equipment sanitization procedures.

  • Administrative Tasks: Schedule imaging appointments, verify patient information, and manage workflow to ensure timely service delivery.
