Float X-Ray Technician

Pay: $30-$40/hour

Hours: 3pm - 12am M-F (May have some flexibility)

Location:

• Start and end every day in San Antonio at the main facility (78238) to pick up/drop off the company car you'd use to visit patients.
• Allocation is variable dependent on the day. You would get your schedule on a daily basis before your shift. Generally we keep each employee in a certain area of the city, for example, one shift you may be in South San Antonio or the Medical Center, etc. We don't like to overlap the techs daily regions because it is inefficient. We want the employee to drive as little distance as possible
• If at the hospital, you would not be in the ER. You'd most likely be with the ICU/Med-Surg patients.
• New employees start in facilities only, not in home visits.

Qualifications:

• BLS
• ARRT
• TMB
• Ability to lift 50-60 pounds of equipment
• Ideally 1 + years of experience

Responsibilities:

• EKGs, x-ray images. Very basic imaging, similar to what you would get in the ER.
• Usually employees will get assigned 10-12 patients per shift. If they have multiple patients in one facility, this can increase.
• Almost all of our patients are geriatric or palliative care patients.
