X-Ray Tech

Kirkland, Washington 98034

An Orthopedic Clinic is looking for an X Ray technician to help support operations at their Kirkland location. This clinic sports medicine and orthopedic needs. There is a wide patient demographic here - ranging from geriatric patients to young individuals being seen for sports injuries (this time of the year patient volume tends to go up because of sports related injuries).

Overview of Responsibilities:

  • Support 16 physicians that make up the clinic as well an additional 4 at neighboring hand and wrist clinics within the facility
  • Retrieving patients from the lobby, rooming them, and taking images
  • Fast paced position - can expect a high volume of patients in a given shift
  • Strong communication skills are essential as you will need to be able to collaborate with providers regarding image quality and placement to obtain the necessary images to make diagnoses
  • This is a fairly physical position - This clinic tends to see a lot of foot related injuries meaning patients often lack mobility
  • X - Ray techs supporting this department will often have to provide considerable support in positioning patients during x-ray examinations


  • Current WA X Ray Technician Certification or Current WA State Radiologic Technologist
  • Previous Experience in Orthopedics

Additional Skills:

  • Customer Service Experience
  • Experience working in high volume / fast paced clinics


  • M-F 7a-5p ( will work 5x8 hour shifts between these hours, starts will range between 7a-9a)

Contract Length:

1040 hours (approximately 6.5 months). Opportunity to convert to permanent hire after satisfactory completion of contract.


$33.50 - $35.00 (Dependant on experience)
