Employment Type: Direct Hire Permanent
Schedule: Monday - Friday, No Weekends (Full-time, Part-time options available)
Salary: $120,000 - $150,000 annually (based on experience)

Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Wound Care Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our team in Merrilynville, Indiana. As a leading wound care company partnering with home health agencies and skilled nursing facilities (SNFs), we provide comprehensive wound care services to patients in various settings. This role involves performing general wound assessments, utilizing advanced measurement technology, and implementing standard wound care practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct general assessments of wounds, including taking measurements and photographs.
  • Utilize molecular machines for precise wound measurements and digital photos.
  • Perform various debridement techniques, including topical and surgical debridement.
  • Apply topical debriding agents to clean open wounds and promote faster healing.
  • Use cellular tissue products to aid in wound healing.
  • Make rounds to the same SNFs and homes, ensuring continuity of care.
  • Manage an average of 20 patients per day in SNFs and 10 home visits per day (3 times a week).
  • Collaborate closely with Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVNs) during patient visits.
  • Maintain accurate patient records using EMR systems (EClinical Works, Point Click Care at SNFs).

Qualifications:

  • Nurse Practitioner (NP) with wound care experience.
  • Certification in wound care is preferred but not required.
  • Experience in surgical debridement and SNF settings is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in using EMR systems.
  • Flexibility to adapt to varying schedules dictated by SNF requirements.
  • Ability to work independently with support from the local leadership team and the Medical Director.
