About the Role:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Workman's Comp Billing Follow-Up Representative to join our team! In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the timely and accurate resolution of workers' compensation claims by managing follow-up communications with healthcare providers, insurance carriers, and clients. If you have experience in medical billing, claims resolution, and insurance follow-up, this is a great opportunity to grow your career in healthcare administration!



Responsibilities:

βœ… Follow up on outstanding workers' compensation claims to ensure timely reimbursement.
βœ… Communicate with insurance carriers, healthcare providers, and internal teams to resolve claim issues.
βœ… Review and analyze denied or underpaid claims, taking necessary action to resolve them.
βœ… Ensure all billing and follow-up activities comply with industry regulations and company policies.
βœ… Maintain accurate documentation of claim statuses and communication records.
βœ… Work collaboratively with billing, reimbursement, and compliance teams to resolve outstanding accounts.



Qualifications:

βœ” Experience in healthcare billing, claims follow-up, or medical reimbursement (preferred).
βœ” Strong knowledge of workers' compensation claims processing and insurance regulations.
βœ” Proficiency in medical billing software and electronic health records (EHR/EMR).
βœ” Excellent communication, problem-solving, and time-management skills.
βœ” Ability to work independently while maintaining accuracy and compliance.

Compensation: $23-24 hourly (depending on experience)

Hours: Mon-Fri 8am-4pm

Location: Camden, NJ 08103

Start Date: ASAP

Benefits: In order to be eligible for health benefits, you must be employed for 30 days and must average 30 hours per week over your first four weeks on assignment. If you become eligible and take action to enroll, you will be covered no earlier than 60 days into your assignment, depending on plan selection(s).
