Job description

We are seeking a motivated Warehouse/Production Technician to join our team at a leading Durable Medical Equipment (DME) company. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge devices and contribute to our mission of delivering high-quality products.

Location: Southside Flats, Pittsburgh, PA
Schedule: Monday - Friday, Day Shift
Pay: $18/hour (increases to $19/hour after a 6-month conversion period)

Position Overview:

As a Production Technician, you will be responsible for conducting functionality tests on our devices, ensuring they meet quality standards. Your day-to-day tasks will include:

  • Performing functionality tests on devices, including checking settings, display quality, battery charge, audio output, and USB ports.
  • Assembling devices and components as needed, following established procedures.
  • Operating a laser cutter to shape devices according to templates; attention to detail is crucial.
  • Assisting with inventory management and shipping on occasion.
  • Demonstrating flexibility to assist in other departments based on operational needs.

Ideal Candidate Attributes:

  • Competency in working with your hands and performing light assembly tasks.
  • Basic computer skills, including familiarity with Windows, email, and spreadsheets.
  • A flexible personality that allows for support across various departments.
  • Backgrounds in production, manufacturing, electronics, or even restaurant and retail
