Veterinary Technician

No license required! We're looking for a Veterinary Technician to join our team and support our veterinarians and study directors in delivering top-notch animal care. You'll assist in a variety of tasks, including medicine, surgery, drug therapy, and preventive care under the guidance of our Attending Veterinarian. Responsibilities:

• Provide nursing care and assist with diagnostics (e.g., body weights, blood collection, urine analysis).
• Perform animal handling, restraint, sedation, medication administration, and prep for surgeries.
• Handle cleaning tasks like sterilizing instruments and maintaining procedure areas.
• Calculate medication doses and manage controlled substances for procedures.
• Perform data entry, maintain inventory, and assist with equipment upkeep.

Qualifications:

• BA/BS, Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT), or completion of a 2-year Veterinary Tech program preferred (but not required).
• 6-12 months of animal handling or veterinary experience.
• Basic to advanced computer skills and ability to follow detailed instructions.
• Experience with Good Laboratory Practice is a plus but not required; training provided.

Schedule:

• Mon-Fri, regular buisness hours
• Fully onsite
