Position Summary

The Senior VP oversees the operation of the NYS Article 31 licensed Mental Health Clinic (MHOTRS.) There are both clinical and administrative functions related to the position ensuring that the program operates according to policies and procedures, as well as the regulations of the NYS Office of Mental Health and the NYC Department of Health & Mental Hygiene. This includes philanthropic and programmatic initiatives. In addition, the SVP for Clinic Services ensures clinic staff are maintaining productivity, and effectively meeting client needs for in-person and telehealth services.

Position Duties

1. Administrative-

1. Is responsible for the monitoring of productivity for all Clinic staff based on the standards established under Billable Hours.

1. Ensures all clinic documentation and activity is compliant with OMH 599 regulations and with Medicare, Medicaid and all payer expectations.

1. Prepares documentation and acts as liaison for on-site audits.

1. Addresses all clinic clients, as well as administrative complaints, questions and issues from a customer service representative perspective.

1. Develops adequate staff coverage schedules for planned absences and untoward events. Ensures on-site director coverage.

1. Facilitates or oversees alternate facilitation of clinic staff meetings, mid-week huddles, and a biweekly clinical consult hour.

1. Covers the after-hours/emergency phone in monthly rotation with the other program Senior Vice Presidents.

1. Supervisory & Clinical-

1. Set standards for clinical practice, ensuring that staff are utilizing a broad array of modalities, including evidenced based practices.

1. Provides formal and ad hoc supervision to LMSW/LCSW psychiatric social workers.

1. Provides formal and ad hoc supervision to Clinic Operations Coordinator.

1. Provides supervisory support along with CPO to Medical staff, including MDs and NPPs.
