Job Title: Surgical Scheduler

Pay Rate: $17/hr
Location: Monroeville, PA

Shift Options: M-F 8am-4:30pm, except all staff is 7:30-4 on Fridays

Job Type: Contract to hire

Job Description

• Schedule vasectomies and biopsies as a primary responsibility.
• Seek candidates with prior experience in scheduling medical procedures.
• Ask specific questions, akin to triage, to gather necessary information from patients.
• Brief patients on what to expect during their visit and procedure.
• Handle scheduling for all surgical procedures, ensuring the collection of relevant clinical and insurance coding information.
• Receive requests from physician offices to schedule procedures.
• Follow established guidelines in scheduling procedures.

Job qualifications include:

• High school diploma or equivalent (some college coursework in healthcare administration is a plus).
• Prior medical scheduling experience (REQUIRED) - preferable surgery scheduling experience
