Strata Financial Strategy Consultant

This Strata Financial Strategy Consultant will work with 2 larger hospital/healthcare organizations in both the Minneapolis area and Greenville, NC area to leverage their existing platform of Strata to address their financial reporting needs. This consultant will split time 50/50 between both healthcare locations ,assisting with the same project with both end clients. The goal is to transition this consultant 100% to one of these end clients/projects after 3 months when we progress to the next stage in the project.

Timeline:

• Ideally we are looking for this consultant to get started 11/13 or the following week
• This project will run through Feb 15th and then transition to 100% focus on one of the two projects in either Minneapolis or Greenville, NC.
• It will be an ongoing time frame likely moving beyond 6 months

Travel:

• 25-40% - typically would be 1 week/month to either Minneapolis or Greenville, NC

Responsibilities:

• This consultant will be assisting 2 separate hospital/healthcare organizations with assessing their current Strata financial systems and proposing solutions that will allow them to better utilize their systems to predict profitability for the organization moving forward (i.e. Can we leverage the existing platform of Strata to address the financial reporting needs that our team needs to perform? If not, why not? What are the decision trees that need to be completed to get there?)
• The problem is profitability, costing models are an issue - they're rebuilding the costing model and need help with the technical component
• Working with executive leadership and business units throughout the organization to gain a better understanding of how they're currently utilizing the system, diagnosing workflow issues, decision support, and help create a strategy moving forward

Qualifications:

Must haves:

• Stratajazz experience - someone that has acted as a Strata Architect and has implemented the system in the past, understands the capabilities, and can work to understand if Strata is viable for financial reporting needs moving forward
• Experience in a leadership position within a health system and has been actively involved in decision support at a leadership level
• Ability to understand the current landscape and help create the strategy & solution to go forward with
• **Strata experience may vary, but really need a strong BI background with different systems & financial dashboards & analytics (specifically costing)

Nice to have:

• Healthcare industry experience is HIGHLY preferred
