Sterile Processing Technician

Job Requirements:

• Certification as a Sterile Processor or Surgical Technologist
• Knowledge of the operations, maintenance, and documentation of the washers, sterilizers and other relevant equipment
• Highschool graduate or equivalent preferred

Job Overview:

• Responsible for processing of all surgical instrumentation, equipment, and supplies for the center
• Responsible for the operation of washers, sterilizers and documentation of the equipment cycles
• Stock the store room when needed and rotates stock, checks dates and ensures proper storage of supplies
• Assures sterility maintenance of supplies
• Provide inventory sheets on storage supplies when requested

Other Information:

• 7am start on surgery days; 9am start on non-surgical days
